Back And Ready To Roll :)

I have had a lovely holiday with my family in the beautiful town of Apollo Bay. It's always refreshing to explore new treasures and to just be in a different place.
We are all feeling recharged, and with the rest of the week to enjoy the end of school holidays at home, I am starting to think about some new bag designs with some fab new green fabric that I picked up before we went away.
Looking forward to getting back on to my machine and realizing my designs :)

Holidays Holidays Holidays

It's that time again, the family is all packed up ready for a holiday. This time we are going to Apollo Bay. So looking forward to relaxing at the beach and forgetting about schedules and timetables. Handmade Bag - Black And Red Butterflies

This standout adjustable handled bag has been designed using black and cream cord, and a gorgeous red and black butterfly print fabric.
The bag has been enhanced with the addition of a beautiful silver rickrack, a custom made twisted fabric ruffle and further decorated with some black and silver buttons.
The bag is lined in the butterfly fabric and contains one pocket.
A black button with an indented metallic silver button placed on top of it is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.
The bag is fully lined with wadding to give the bag shape and strength. The bag also contains an added base to further strengthen it.

Handmade Bag - Black And White Flemington

This one handled bag has been constructed from black cord, and two dramatic black and white fabrics.
The bag is lined in a coordinating black and white fabric and contains one pocket.
The bag is enhanced by the addition of a ruffled trim, and further decorated by three customised fabric flowers and three sparkling black buttons.
A large white button is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.
The bag is fully lined with wadding to give the bag shape and strength. The bag also contains an added base to further strengthen it.

Handmade Bag - Ruffled Butterfly

This two handled bag has been constructed from black and cream cord, and a stunning red, black and cream cotton decorated with butterflies.
The bag is lined in the butterfly material and contains one pocket.
The bag is further enhanced by the addition of a black Velvet like trim, a customised ruffle constructed from the butterfly fabric that has been further decorated with a "string" of tiny black shimmering sequins. Two different designs of gorgeous buttons have also been used in the decoration of this unique bag.
A large shiny black button with a black and cream button placed upon it is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.
The bag is fully lined with wadding to give the bag shape and strength. The bag also contains an added base to further strengthen it.
