Shades of Peacock Bag

My Newest Creation was a delight to design and complete, a lovely break from painting my daughter's room!
This two handled tote has been constructed from green and cream cord and a gorgeous cotton fabric that has a beautiful paisley design on it in shades of blue green and cream; shades of a peacock!
The bag is lined in a coordinating cream fabric that has a soft blue swirl design printed on it.
The bag is further enhanced by the addition of three different trims and two varieties of buttons.
A wooden button is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.

Paint Everywhere!

After the successful bag sales of last week I definitely need to replenish my stocks!
However I have also decided to paint my gorgeous daughters bedroom.
We live in a some what old abode so there is a fair amount of repairs as well as the need for primer coats to obliterate the current colours blue & yellow (which date before our time).
I have promised that the "transformation" will be complete by Sunday so not much else is happening in the Goodridge house!
Bag design and construction has been relegated to the twilight hrs!
Next post will contain my nearly completed "Colours Of Peacock" Tote.
