Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Well it's Christmas Eve and another year is nearly over. I have really enjoyed developing my small business this year and have been heartened by all the positive feedback and encouragement I have received from clients and friends.
Over the last few days I have traded the sewing machine and my work space for the kitchen and its "tools". I have enjoyed making the mince pies, truffles, the biscotti mixed berry triffle and dressing the ham to name a few cooking adventures. I am holding my first Christmas so am hoping that it will be a success.
We are lucky enough to be heading away to the beach on Box Day for a week. So I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my customers and supporters a fabulous and safe holiday season. May you enjoy the company of your family and friends and hopefully get an opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries.
I look forward to creating many new bags next year with all the gorgeous fabric, trims and buttons that I have stashed away:)

Handmade Mini Bag - Liam's Treasure

The custom brief for this bag was "he loves music". The feature fabric is gorgeous and goes so well with the red and black cord. I hope Liam enjoys his very own bag.

Handmade Bag - Starkey's Own

This bag is my first custom order for a male "Bloke" bag. That being the reason for no trim and the non patterned fabric choices as well as the more masculine colour scheme. The bags outer shell is completely made from different coloured cord. I love it and I think it works for the right kind of man to carry all that extra stuff you need to take to work or around!!

Handmade Mini Bag - Heavenly Pink and Grey

This soft and pretty bag has been designed using baby pink and grey cord, and a pale pink cotton decorated with a darker pink swirling design.
The bag has been enhanced with the addition of pink rickrack and a thin grey velveteen trim, as well as a stunning pink applique flower.
The bag is lined in the pink cotton.
A silver engraved button is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.
The bag is fully lined with wadding to give the bag shape and strength.
