Blue and Red Umbrella Bag

This blue and red two handled bag has been created by co-ordinating four different fabrics and putting them together in a vertical pattern.
I love to mix fabric types to achieve a unique look. This bag is a mix of deep red pinwheel cord, dark navy blue cord, a dark blue cotton with a paler blue irregular spot and the main panel is an umbrella pattern on a blue base.
The bag is lined with the spotted material and contains an easy to access pocket in a mix of the fabrics found on the front.
A large square Balinese coconut button is used to close the bag via a fabric loop.
The bag has been further enhanced by the addition of three varieties of trim. These have been added to the front of the bag on the seams of the material change.
The bag is fully lined with wadding to give the bag shape and strength. The bag also contains an added base to further strengthen it.
Dimensions:
14” across
12.5” tall
29” handles
3.5 x 11.5” base
